Love it! Grill in it as often as I can. Saved us during the winter storm we got here in Texas! Couldn't use our stove, I had stocked up with lump and briquettes charcoal a few weeks before the freeze. Lit the grill every meal for three days in a row! To say I'm happy with my grill is an insult. I'm beyond happy! I have convinced a few buddies to get a kettle.
New features make a classic/reliable even better.
When my 1992 model Weber grill final succumbed to rust, my wife purchased a brand new Weber grill for me and surprised me on father's day. It cooks better than my older Weber because the ease of the airflow control with one sliding lever. I've slow cooked several pork tenderloins, whole chickens and steaks. The ash bucket at the bottom is so easy to empty and holds much more than the old pan that my old Weber used. The sliding lever that adjusts the airflow also clears most (if not all) of the ash from the bottom of the kettle with a couple of side to side movements. I love grilling but have never been more excited about lighting up my charcoal chimney than I have been over the past few months. I love my new Weber grill and plan on several decades of use with my new grill.
Enjoying the new addition to the family.
Our grill was purchased as a gift to me. I have a gas grill, two pellet grill/smokers and a 36 in Blackstone. The Weber is a nice addition to my collection and I am enjoying watching videos on you tube and practicing on it learning new things. I am actually waiting on my new vortex to arrive today .
