great size!
my son is almost 2 years old, and I wanted something that was a bit smaller due to us living in an apartment with a balcony. this is perfect! I haven't had a chance to put sand in yet, due to covid19 restrictions in my state. As you can see though, my child loves it even without the sand! can't wait to see him with the sand. As said in other reviews the lid just sits on the hippo body, there isn't a clipping mechanism. I don't mind that though, because I have a chalkboard up (for privacy and for my child to enjoy, since we don't really have our own yard), so the wind doesn't really bother my balcony. super cute, great size, I would definely recommend!KelseyKelley
