I live in Florida and refuse to have the gas turned on just to run the furnace. We normally only have about a month of cold nights in the 30's and 40's so I have been using radiator heaters. I have wanted an electric fireplace and saw this one that said it heats a thousand square feet. My house is 1'100 sq ft so I use one radiator heater and this together and my house already went up 2 degrees. The only issue I have is it doesn't have a lock setting but that's my own fault for not reading the description better. The fake fire is nice with 5 flame speeds. My son loves watching it. It feels cozy just watching it.Melanie

It has 5 levels of flame height intensity and 5 levels of flame speed. Also has a thermostat to keep it at a certain temperature. Also, had automatic shut off between 30 minutes and 9 hours. Comes assembled very nice woodwork- quality - on wheels for easy moving to other rooms. Only one thing slightly negative I would say is the remote is very wide. I think they couldve made it less wide so its easier to hold.
All and all I love it! Sets the mood ImSets the mood ambience. Great for the holidays and winter season. Use with or without heat.Gretchen

This fire place is absolutely perfect! I'm so happy I purchased it. I've wanted a fire place for so long. It makes my apartment so warm and cozy. When I received it the delivery was very quick and the box wasn't too heavy. You literally just have to pull it out and plug it in it's super easy and very well made. I would recommend this to everyone. Love that you can set it on a timer too and adjust the degrees. The fire looks realistic and you can adjust the brightness of it. I love this so much!
