I absolutely love this deep fryer. Yes I've owned a fryer before, a while ago actually. But it was a single basket. This fryer has a dual basket so I can get twice the food done faster, AND if you don't have a lot of food to fry, you can definitely use just one basket. I love how fast it fries the food and food always comes out tasting great! It is all black which fits perfectly with my kitchen colors, it is somewhat big and a lot of oil will go into it, however if you have a big family or fry a lot of food then the oil doesn't go to waste. It comes with a booklet of instructions on how to cook certain good, which I find very helpful. Like I said before it cooks food super fast, and food comes out crispy not soggy, compared to trying to fry food on a pan. I am so glad I got this from sparks reviewer, now I can enjoy delicious crispy fries and they are ready in minutes. Love, love this fryer!Lindsaylb

Presto Dual Deep Fryer
I was sent this product to review for Walmart.
I had been wanting another larger deep fryer since my Waring stopped working last year.
This is a little bigger than what I would have bought, a single basket would have been big enough for me.
But I do love this double basket fryer from Presto. I can get all my cooking done in one big batch!
It heated up fast and cooked quite well, NICE & CRISPY. You place the basket hooks on the fryer's edge, place the cover on, then lower the baskets. This greatly reduces splatter and hot oil burns.
I am also not a fan of the smell of frying food in my small apt. kitchen, so I run my heavy duty extension cord outside & use it on my wrought iron table just outside my front door. I mostly do chicken wings, and I love when they are crispy on the outside & juicy on the inside. I also do Onion Rings, Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, Fried Dough (Zeppole) and home made batter-dipped fried chicken cutlets.
What I have learned over time is that if you want non-greasy fried foods, you need a deep fryer that reaches 375 to 400 degrees in temperature and recovers rapidly after placing the cold or frozen food to be cooked in the hot oil.
My only real challenges are finding storage for the fryer and draining the oil & it does hold A LOT of oil. I recommend pouring the oil into an oil keeper with strainer.
I do recommend, especially for large families or for Sunday Football Snacks!DeeDeeG
