Does it's job!
Not made of heavy plastic. Made of some sort of cotton weave. Material looks like it would give you a hard time to get into pillow case but it wasn't. Does it's job!Maureen

These pillow protectors, altho waterproof, were not noisy or crinkly. Pillow case fit right over them. I washed them in the washer but hung them up to dry. A day on one side then inverted them and hung to dry the other side. Used clothes pins on a hangerSooz
