Wonderful for those that run warm/hot
The fit was perfect even for deep pocketed mattresses. The top of the protector feels great and it felt nice and cool to the touch (I wouldn't even mind sleeping directly on top of this in the heat of summer). I would love if they could make sheets out of this same material because once you put a regular sheet on top of the protector it does loose just a bit of the cooling effect. Since I'm a person who hates the heat and runs on the warm side year round, I definitely need this in my life!!JMT1002

I normally use a quilted, padded mattress protector, it fits my bed perfectly but it is thick, and very bulky to wash, and dry. The last time I laundered it, I just didn't have the oomph to put it back on my bed, so I have been taking chances with no protection for a several weeks now. My grandson came for a week during this Covid-19 quarantine, both of us laid down for a nap, and his sippy cup leaked, and stained my mattress, so I knew I needed to replace it, really soon. Before I got the chance to put it back on, I got the offer to try this Mainstays pro chill cooling mattress protector, so I waited. When I received this cover, I placed it on my bed, It fits perfectly on my 10" queen size pillow top mattress. It has an elastic type material, it stretches very well. The thin plastic layer is covered by a very thin material.
There is no crackling noise while turning, or sitting on it. I wanted to see if it was really waterproof, so I put a towel under the protector poured some water on it, patted with my hand trying to get it to absorb into the towel underneath, but the water only pooled, and ran off. This will replace my thick bulky one.sokool2

I got this mattress cover to replace a cheap vinyl mattress cover that I had. It did the job just fine, but it was very noisy. Any time I would move around in bed I could hear a loud crinkly sound from the mattress cover rustling around under my sheets.
This cover is really nice, the fabric used is nice and smooth. I really like the texture, and the stitching is done nicely. What I like about it the most is that it doesn't make any noise at all. You can move around all you want without having the deal with the noise.
