I really like these! $15.00 a peice!
I bought 2 of these, bpught a door with no hole in it, painted it white and wow what a beautiful scrapbook station with a place for my cricut, and bins, great for storage and a awesome table.
My friends love this idea too.scrapangel10
Great bargain bookshelf, not so great instructions
I really love this bookshelf! I wasn't sure what to expect considering it was so cheap but it was on sale and as a recent college grad I do not have a lot of cash to throw around but I needed a bookcase. So I got this and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. This thing is sturdy and it fit more books than I expected! It is slightly top heavy so you want to put your heavy books on the bottom but once I loaded it up it stays put really well and doesn't need to be mounted to the wall. I got the white one and jazzed it up with some fabric on the backing since I thought it looked too plain and now I really love it, it looks much more expensive now and that awful shiny white that is painted on the backing is not visible.
Now for the bad, the set up instructions are difficult. It's pretty much just pictures and we ended up putting the top and bottom board on wrong at first XD we managed to fix it but still it was not so fun. So for anyone who has yet to set it up once you get to the step where you put all four frame pieces together make sure you check that the bottom piece is in the right spot! The bottom of the shelf has an extra inch of wood under the holes to accommodate the kick-board, the top of the shelf has the holes much higher so that the top of the bookcase lies flat (these holes will be located on the two side panels where they connect to the top and bottom).
Aside from that we didn't have any trouble putting it together and once we got it put together I really liked it. It did take a while but now that I know how to do it I could make another one in half the time. Overall I am very pleased with this bookcase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a sturdy but cheap storage for their books or a bookcase they don't care if their kids knock around a bit.collegegirl1989
My instructions were easy to understand and all parts were in their own compartments making it easy to find everything. It was $16 and worth it for the price for sure.Kiki
