Great Electric Fireplace - Heater, Many Options
I've been wanting and electric portable fireplace for our summer lake cabin; I have found it! When the medium sized box arrived, all the internal parts arrived in perfect condition; exceptional packing! Once opened and the items laid out, It was easy to see this was going to be an easy and quick setup. I've attached a picture of the items that come in the box. There are two ways to use this fireplace, wall mounted, or surface stand; both have different installation parts and procedures. Use the provided manual, very well done. I'm using the surface stand, as I'm going to set it in my lake house existing wood fireplace box. Make sure the stands are mounted with the short ends facing the backside; helps it from not tipping over – forward. You will need a #1 and #2 cross tip (Philips) screwdrivers to do either installation/setup. Also, a pair of needle nose pilers will help you insert the screws in the base of each leg stand. The fireplace allows you to quickly change out the lower decorative part of the fireplace from a dark stone looking bar, to a bag full of clear crystal stones; follow the directions, very easy. Once I finished, approximately 15 minutes, I had it up and running. Just plug it in (74” cord length/two-prong) to an outlet (120v) and use either the remote control or the control buttons on the left side of the unit. The remote is great, reaching at least 36 plus feet for me, also giving me complete control on the color of the flames and crystal colors, light intensity, and an actual heater! Keep in mind, if you are going to use the heater, it will draw from a low 750 watts to a high of 1500 watts, much like a hair dryer. The heat on high is pretty decent for such a small unit, a nice little booster. The heat comes from the top of the unit and has a hot touch with your hand on the vent, all the way to the backside, but not burning my hand. The Timer mode allows you set a turnoff time, this is a bit tricky, as you have to look at the side of the unit for the lighted buttons (amount of time), or remember the touch sequence; it does work. The unit size, not including any base is 22” W x 16” T. The clear window is 13.5 W x 8” T. The height with the leg stands installed is 18” T. It also comes with some cord cover tubing, so the electrical cord is a bit more dressed up for wall mounting. I would have preferred a dull matt finish instead of the shiny black finish (less reflection). Please read and follow all the safety instructions to keep you safe. This is made in China and comes with a manufacturer one-year warranty. This is a great electric fireplace accent piece, I'm 5-star happy with all of it!Gbartmi

This heater is gorgeous and works great! Sleek slim black design. Tempered glass and cool touch exterior for safety. I love the interchangeable crystal and log inserts with 10 flame and 10 bed colors, all in dazzling LEDs. Beautiful flame effect works with and without heat. The colors and flame brightness are adjustable, as is the thermostat. 2 heat settings. 7.5 hour timer. Remote control. It is freestanding or wall mountable with paintable cord cover. I am IN LOVE with this unique fireplace. You hv the option to mount on wall or freestanding, (you see I chose mounted). Would hv liked my handyman to go a lil lower on mounting surface space but I didn't catch him in time. Its still a beautiful object! The different flame setting colors are fantastic!!! I got it more for aesthetics/ambience look, than heater quality; however heater does kick out some heat *not for a huge space tho* maybe a small office like mine or small bedroom. Price was perfect and I would definitely recommend. Hubby now wants one for his mancave-go figure :)ShoeFab2
