Warm & Cool Together For All Weather!
This beautiful black 10 x 10 in heater/fan doesn't take up much space, and warmed our 204 sq ft room on low (900 watts), in less than an hour, after waking up to 40 degrees the past couple mornings. Would of put on high (1500 watts), but trying to save some bucks on the electric, since the last heater we had was 1500 watts, and raised our bill over $100 during cold months. It has an automatic shut off if tips over (found out while searching for the handle :-) There is a little white plastic push button underneath, that pushes in when standing up on flat surface, but pops out when not, and stops. The handle is a 3 x 1 1/2 in opening on back, to fit a small hand, or large fingers. It had a slight burning smell the first few minutes turning on but went away fast. The cool circulator fan works very well, too, almost as cool as an air conditioner set at 65, and much cooler than our boxed fan. Be sure and read the entire owners manual about the 1 year limited warranty, keeping 3 ft away from everything, not using near gasoline, or anything flammable, etc. It has a 6 ft cord, uses 120 volts, and 12.5 amps. For under $20 on sale now, this is a fantastic deal, and I thank God for being allowed to do this review, and can save some $ on our electric bill, too :-)REV147
Small but Mighty
With all the central heating options in homes today, you would think this is not a top ranked in needs, you are wrong. I find that a low blowing fan can move the heat around and you can use less gas or turn the temperature down. If you are sitting in a cool spot this is a winner. If you do not want to sit with a Lump of blankets while you watch tv, you can use a small heater and you can control the temperature in the space where you are sitting.
Easy. to use and has a small foot print.
Temperature is easy to regulate and can be used all seasons. I like the idea that it can sit on the floor or be placed on a table. The unit is quiet when running and does not disturb with conversations or watching tv.
I have used this fan/heater almost everyday and find that is truly a comfort measure that is correct for ongoing comfortdixies2cats
Handy fan for home use
Over the course of the year I have several reasons to need a small fan. On usual days, I like to have one in place in my workout area, as I enjoy doing exercise videos. Having a fan to circulate cool air while I work out is very helpful. On winter days, I have found that employing a small heat fan nearby is more economical than significantly turning up the temperature in the entire house while I'm home alone (which on weekdays during the school year is at least 7 hours). I keep the heat on in the house, but several degrees colder than I need while I'm home alone. Then I use a heating fan nearby to keep me comfortable. At night I also enjoy having some “white noise” when I'm sleeping, to cover up extraneous sounds coming from outside. So a small fan like the Pelonis 2-in-1 Heater is a good choice for me. I like its design, as it's shaped like a jet engine (my husband is a pilot), with a squat, wide structure that makes it very unlikely to tip over. The sound of the fan is quiet and smooth, perfect for “white noise” and for minimal sound pollution. The power of the fan is not super-high, but I don't need it to be. I need it to keep the air circulating, whether it's the warmed air or the room-temperature air. The fan has two settings for each temperature—low/high heat and low/high fan. This product does a fine job in warming a moderately-sized area of space, and while it doesn't have the big power of a “box window fan” to circulate cool air, it works great for my purposes.lhartness
