Awesome and fun to do with your kid.review
10 year old loved it
The stuffing station uses a hand crank, and is just a novelty really. A little bit of stuffing comes out, but as it is not forceful, you really have to use your hands to poke the stuffing in. I expected this, so was not surprised or disappointed. My daughter nonetheless loved the kit, and the two little bears that come with it seem to be of good quality and look just like her larger teddy bear bought at a build-a-bear workshop store. She really loved it. The bears have a small zipper in the back, so you don't have to worry about stitching it up or anything, which is convenient. It's still hard to justify paying this amount of money for two small teddy bears - but I guess you would have to consider the enjoyment factor for the particular child you are buying for. Saved 8.50 buying it online instead of in store.Mamaknowsbest
So Much Fun!
The Build-A-Bear Stuffing Station was definitely a treat! Upon arriving on our doorstep, my two kids were so excited to open it up. They had to wait for a few hours because of other plans, so when I finally got home it's the first thing my 5-year-old brought up. I love that it came with 2 of everything! And also that it came with 1 pink bear and 1 brown bear. It works well if you have a boy and a girl, which I do. It was a bit difficult to fit the bear around the opening to start stuffing, and my 5-year-old would definitely not have been able to do this on her own, but she really enjoyed it and was so happy to hug her bear afterwards! My 3-year-old had a little bit more difficulty in getting his stuffing to come out of the opening, and got tired of turning the crank after a while so I had to help him finish, but he hasn't put his bear down ever since! All in all it was a fun little project for us to do together, and my daughter already wants to order more refills so we can make more! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]Dollymatic
My 11 year old daughter received this and it took her 10 minutes to fill the 2 bears that come with this set.
She was quite bored and now we have this large plastic bear filler with nothing to do with it.
I am not going to buy more bears, this seems like a waste.
This is most certainly better suited for a 4-5 year old who may need help filling the bears. I think younger kids might enjoy this more. It certainly is a cute idea. But one that may get costly to purchase more bears to fill and the clothes and accessories.
My daughter LOVES the build a bear workshop in malls, but this wasn't so fun.

Fun for Girls AND Boys
My daughter is 5, and my son is almost 3. They both seemed very excited about stuffing their bears, and the whole process was pretty easy...for me. I don't think either of them could've stuffed the arms/legs/head as meticulously or successfully as I did; that part took a little bit of effort for me. Also, getting the toy on and keeping it on the stuffing nozzle was slightly challenging at times. And in the meantime, my son was trying to stuff OTHER objects into the stuffing station. Granted, he's younger than the recommended age (4+) on the box, so it's understandable that he'd be more interested in the "machine" end of the toy, rather than the cute teddy bears. I gave this toy a 4/5 because I think it required an adult, even for my 5 year old, and the little paper accessories were too fragile for little hands to punch out and use. All in all, we had a good time playing with the product, and i'm actually thankful that my son enjoyed the stuffing station so much, even if it caused a little bit of a mess at first.
